What It Means
Posted transactions have moved from a pending state to a permanent entry on the account. Posting typically takes one to three business days. Only posted transactions accrue interest and count toward statement balances. Pending transactions may still be modified by the merchant-for example, when a restaurant adjusts a tip. Disputes generally require the transaction to be posted before the issuer can act.
